Brave Noise
Brave Noise is a global collaborative effort to provide inclusive and safe environments for women, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ throughout the beer industry. By participating in this brewing initiative, Equals & Side Launch team members - both management and non-management - updated and reviewed our Codes of Conduct to ensure that we are holding ourselves to the highest standards.
Brewer Carly DeLorme has helped spearhead this launch for us and shared what it meant to her.
“The Brave Noise initiative at Equals to me means building a safe, inclusive and supportive work environment for all. It's a fantastic way for us to hold ourselves accountable in an industry that still has so much to learn and grow when it comes to diversity and equality. I believe being a part of this global project is a step to show our dedication to help improve the negative side of this ever growing industry.”
Profits from the sale of Brave Noise Pale Ale will be donated to Anova. Anova is the product of a merger between London’s Women’s Community House and Sexual Assault Centre London. Anova provides safe places, shelter, support, counsilling, and resources for abused women, their children, and all oppressed individuals to find a new start.
Fruity | Juicy | Easy Drinking
We went for a juicy IPA profile in a 5% Pale Ale package. We mash-hopped with Cascade, then added a heavy dose of NZ grape skins in the whirlpool. We dry hopped with some very aromatic Cryohop hops, along with the usual suspects Citra, Mosaic and Bru-1. Low bitterness, medium body and expressive notes of peach, orange juice and passion fruit.
